The Foundation & 5e Gallery are proud to announce that, “Funk in the Trunk: Street Couture” Fashion Show will be held this March 23rd. The theme for this year’s event will be in celebration of the Spring Solstice, a time of renewal. The focus of the event is showcasing the creative and urban energy that has inspired and strengthened the City of Detroit community. An eclectic mix of all ends of fashion and design, from streetwear and spandex to accessories.

It's safe to say that the soundtrack for the evening will touch your soul. If you haven’t had a chance to experience the weekly event The Foundation you’ve been missing out. Every Tuesday evening, The Foundation and 5e Gallery has opened their doors to the public to celebrate together to redefining the role of women in hip-hop and empowering the community through art and music. All walks of life seem to find their way here. Everybody from local artists and legacies to internationally known names and faces. And there’s always art.
